Bigfoot Encounters

Dermal Ridge Examination of a Georgia footprint
by J.H. Chilcutt, Conroe Texas Police Department

On November 15, 1999, I received from Dr. Jeff Meldrum, a plaster footprint cast. The cast was made by Deputy James Akins of Pikes County Sheriff's office in Pike's County Georgia in 1977, from an impression found in the Elkin's Creek Flood Plain.

The footprint measured 17.5 long and 8.5 wide. The footprints were examine over a period of several months and I observed several areas where primate dermal ridges appeared.
