Review of November 2, 2002 Tri-State Bigfoot Study Group

Newcomerstown, Ohio

On a clear and cold early November evening, 34 people from Ohio and nearby states attended the regular meeting of the Tri-State Bigfoot Study Group.

The first 20 minutes of the meeting was filled by chairman Don Keating giving a brief summary of sighting, track and sound reports from eastern and southeastern Ohio during the past several years to as recently as a few weeks ago. At 8:20 p.m. the speaker of the evening walked in the locked conference room door and started off right away with his wit of humor by cutting on Keating's lack of hair.

At 8:30 after juggling audio tapes, Jim Watson of Wellsville, Ohio gave his presentation of historical and recent recordings of strange sounds in the forest near his residence in Columbiana County, Ohio. Watson had several sightings to tell about, which included almost every member of his family sighting a Bigfoot creature. Watson said he has lived at the same residence since 1952.

At the end of his presentation he announced his new audio tape of recordings of sounds that he has been able to capture over the past years. His tape is available for $10 plus $3 s/h charges. You may contact Watson via e-mail at watsoja@sky-access.com for information as to where to send payment and whom to make payment to.

After intermission chairman Don Keating gave additional updates of material coming in from locations across the Ohio Valley as well as locally. The next meeting of the study group will be Saturday December 7th, 2002.
