Bigfoot Encounters 1998 Ohio Conference |
March 6, 1998 NEWCOMERSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- It's the Bigfoot time of year again in the eastern town of Newcomerstown, where the 10th annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference will be held Saturday. Don Keating, an Ohio resident who started the conference, has been researching the creature for13 years. He says he has found footprints and hair samples that could be linked to Bigfoot. He has also spoken to more than 100 people who say they've seen the creature. Keating has not found definite proof of Bigfoot's current or past existence. But he says it doesn't bother him.
