Vilas County, WI, Near Sayner
Aurora Lake and Razor Back Campground
August 2006 around 6:45- 7:15
My Uncle and I were driving on mopeds down to a trail everyone nicknamed "Spooky Ville." There have been a lot of sightings by my relatives. We came to a t-stop with a big open area with shrubs in front of us.
There in the middle was this tall oak colored human figure. It looked like it was trying to blend in.
It was about six feet tall or a tad more. It had a huge human form. It seemed to turn a little and there was a nauseous smell coming from there.
We took off down the trail and when we looked back to creature was gone!
It was dark when we reached the campsite, which is surrounded by woods and other campers.
Later my cousin kept seeing a dark big figure moving in the trees. The next thing we know, good size rocks kept falling from the trees. It couldn't have been one of us because we were all around the camp fire. Something was throwing rocks at us. I would take a step, then a rock would fall right next to me, about the size of my head!
Soon after that we thought we would leave there. My relatives also found the tracks a couple days later, and my cousin said she saw a big figure staring at her in bed at 2:00 A.M. This probably sounds weird, but it is true!
My Great Aunt and Uncle have been camping up there around Sayner for years. They always go in there a bunch a times a year and there are always weird stories. I don't know too many yet, but there is one my Aunt told me. They were in "Spooky Ville" driving in the truck with my Uncle driving, and my Great Aunt and Aunt in the back. They were driving along through Spooky Ville when they turned a corner and my Aunt saw what was definitely a Sasquatch. She said it was a dark brown grayish color, about 8 feet, stubby neck, strong legs and arms, and a very ugly face. She said it was about 9 feet from the truck. It was making eye contact with her the whole time with a mad look on its face. She said, “Oh My God” to my other Aunt. She said, “what, lets go back and see.” My Aunt shouted “no” and yelled to keep going.
She swears on the Bible all this is true! I'm not exactly sure what the campground is called, but it is by either Aurora or Razorback Lake and Razorback campground. I'll have to get back with you on the name.
Stay Well!
