Dear Bigfoot Encounters, I read your Thanksgiving account about the Meddybemps howler and I have a follow up to what we think is probably the same creature. My great aunt tells me her sister, my grandmother now passed, talked about that same Meddybemps creature and told one story where two of them threw rocks at fisherman on the lake and sometimes stormed the canoes, swamping them by churning up the water and screaming. She thinks this must have been around 1942. There was another account of the Meddybemps howler scaring children bathing in the lake by swimming up underneath them, lifting them out of the water and dropping them back into the water. That is all I know, I don't have a description or a time for the last story.
