Near Fairplay
May 2001
In late spring, John Aldrich
wrote to report Sasquatch activity and odd
occurrences, in addition to a footprint impression found 100 yards
from his remote summer cabin near Fairplay, Colorado not far from
Four Mile Creek and Country Road 18. I immediately notified Keith
Foster a seasoned veteran bigfoot researcher in Colorado.

On Tuesday, June 26, 2001 1:07 PM the witness, John wrote again saying:
"I didn't mention that we heard some pounding across the
way. Like wood knocking on wood. 3-4 thumps, repeated once."
On Monday, July 02, 2001 3:15 PM John wrote:
"Last weekend was a strange experience... Teri Jan and
‘Sydney’ (our Australian Shepherd) were wandering in the woods. Sydney
tends to lead ahead. All of a sudden he came bounding back, gave her a
quick look, and kept going. Like he was saying "Ok girl, you're on
your own; I'm outta here." Rushed back to the cabin. Don't know what
spooked him, and Teri Jan didn’t go to find out."

Received notice late May,2001. The witnesses have indicated this case
is currently being investigated by 4 or 5 different people, various organizational
representatives and other individuals. I will update this story as it unfolds
and more information becomes available.
