Claiborne Parish, Louisiana - Fall hunting season 1999

I was hunting with a friend and I saw what I thought was a deer at the edge of the woods. I brought my rifle up and waited for it. Out walked something that I couldn't tell at first if it was a hunter or the big one. I looked through my scope and noticed that I couldn't recognize hands or any facial features because for one I was pretty freaked out. Then the sasquatch walked with ease and ever so quietly into a thicket and never made a sound. Is there any possibility that a sasquatch could be in Louisiana? I was hunting in Claiborne Parish on 11/16/99. I saw the thing at p.m. time.
