Pennsylvania Telegraph McClellandtown, PA May 21, 1977 On May 15, 1977 in Footdale, near McClellandtown,PA , a family was returning about 9:30p.m. from McClellandtown to Footdale on rural road in German Township, when they saw a creature standing upright at edge of road with its back to them as they rounded the bend. The creature was described as 6-feet or so, reddish-brown shaggy hair, upright in slumped position. It dropped from sight over 40-foot embankment.
